SUMMARY:Fall Challenge - Edmonton ~
DESCRIPTION:Congratulations to all of our fall 2025 runners! Fall 2026 registration will open in the spring. \nChallenge 5km\, 10 km  and 1/2 Marathon Road Race & Juniors Event\nRun the River races happen in the spring and fall. Challenge yourself to run longer\, faster\, stronger with each race! \nNow starting and finishing at Louise McKinney Riverfront Park (lower level). \nYour entry fee includes a t-shirt\, finishers medal and a post race BBQ hosted by our friends at River Valley Adventure Co.! Fruit and water is available at the finish and additional beverages are available for purchase from the River Valley Adventure Co. cafe. The BBQ is complimentary for all participants. Extra meals for friends and family can be purchased at River Valley Adventure C0. \nPlanned construction that prevented us from following the same route as the spring is no longer on the schedule so we will be running west from Louise McKinney Riverfront Park. Maps have been updated as of August 26. \nPlease click here for a map showing the turn points for all distances.  \nJuniors Event\nBring the kids to Run the River to experience both  Run Like a Legend program! We will have a few Mini Legends stations set up in the park so your littles can try their hand at physical literacy. Your kids are welcome to visit the stations and do the activities; start time is 10 a.m. for the kids programming. The program will last approximately one hour.  Our Legendary Crew will take the kids through the stations. Please ensure a responsible adult is on hand while your child enjoys this event. Sign them up at the registration link for this fun offering from Athletics Alberta. Come run\, jump\, and throw with us! \nSchedule\nSaturday\, September 27: Race package pick up at Fast Trax Run and XC ski shop from 10:15 – 3:30 PM. You will be asked to sign up for a package pick up window of time.
